We knew we had a full day planned out this past Sunday and didn't have a lot of extra time for cooking a meal for lunch so we decided to take advantage of the gift card I had from Little Caesars. I remembered I had the card with me in my purse so we popped on over and picked up a couple of the Soft Pretzel Crust Pizzas to take home and enjoy. We didn't go when they were "HOT-N-READY" but it really didn't take that long for them to whip them up and we were back on the road. When we got home they were still nice and warm and really the perfect temperature for eating right out of the box.
I personally loved the new pretzel crust and thought the cheddar cheese sauce was a nice switch from the usual tomato sauce. This made my daughter happy too because she's not a fan of tomato anything, but loves cheese on everything. I think we ended up with two slices left once all was said and done, and I ended up eating those for lunch warmed up the next day. Unlike some crusts the pretzel crust didn't get all hard when warmed up in the microwave either which was awesome in my book. I'm really hoping this crust alternative takes off and they make some more options with it. I'm thinking maybe a dessert pizza with cinnamon and sugar (and maybe even a little icing cup). Something like you get at the pretzel stores but in pizza form. Maybe a little added fruit in the middle to make it extra yummy. Either way I know we will be heading back for more Soft Pretzel Crust Pizza before they are gone.
